My favorite tool for the kitchen is a Pampered Chef Tool Turnabout! It’s a lazy-susan style, tiered tool storage. I labeled mine (as that’s sort of my middle name!!) and if there are too many items to fit in, I donate them. You do not need more than 2-3 of each type of item (spatula, ladle, etc.)
Another favorite tool for the kitchen is Command hooks in all sizes. I have a postage-stamp sized kitchen. The inside of my cabinets is the perfect place for storing hangable items (rubber spatulas, cookie scoops, measuring cups, kitchen shears). These hooks are easily removed and do not mark paint or wood surfaces
